Can your products be cleaned?

Yes! And is recommended to do so in-between patient use and whenever visibly soiled.

As per the Spaulding Classification (recognized by the CDC and PHAC) all Tree Dee devices are "non-critical" and "low-risk".
Cleaning and disinfection is at least a two-step process:
- The first step is to remove visible soiling and organic matter.
- The second step is to apply an approved low-level disinfectant which must have a Health Canada Drug Information Number (DIN), using a fresh cloth or wipe and allowing the disinfectant to air dry.
- In the absence of visible soiling, and when using a combination cleaning/disinfecting product, this can be accomplished in one step.
- Tree Dee devices that contain Nylon elastic bungee cord, special attention must be placed to soaking the Nylon cord thoroughly and allowing to completely air dry.

My company uses a brand of medication/syringe not supported by your products, what can I do?

Please contact Tree Dee Designs Inc. for support obtaining fitment for any brand medication/syringe not currently offered. We may request you mail us samples of the brand in question, so we can ensure fitment. You will receive a store credit for helping us expand our supported brands! orders@treedeedesigns.com

How do I use the re-writable area on my compact case?

On the top of most Compact Cases there is a small section where you can write and rewrite the expiry date of the enclosed medications. This helps to identify when medications need to be replaced without needing to break seals and open. Using a permanent marker, write the expiry date on this section. After a short drying time, this is not able to be easily rubbed off. However, using a simple alcohol swab, the marker cleans off and is ready to be written on once again.

Do you offer bulk pricing?
All products are already listed in bulk pricing - as this is one of the great benefits of 3D printing. So whether you order 10 or 1000 items, you can trust you’re getting the lowest price possible!

Do you ship outside North America?

Yes! Due to the limitations of the automatic shipping calculator, any purchases outside of Canada and the US require a custom order. Please email me for an invoice - orders@treedeedesigns.com

Can you recommend products for our team?

Where do you come up with the names for your products?

Tree Dee Designs Inc. operates out of Newfoundland, Canada - which is known for their unique dialect. You'll often hear the word "three" pronounced as "tree". Being a 3D printing company, "Tree Dee" is a nod to my roots. Coincidentally, this company has also started with 3 or "tree" separate printers - represented in my logo by the 3 actual trees with printer nozzles for roots. Furthermore, my products are often given names gathered from Newfoundland's small town names, such as "Hearts Delight", "Hearts Content" and "Red Cliff".

A magnet came loose on my device - can I fix this?

Magnets are attached the devices using Cyanoacrylate Glue (or CA glue - commonly known as Crazy Glue). TreeDee has experimented with dozens of different cements, adhesives and glues to determine CA Glue to be the most effective solution for adhering magnets to the devices. However in a small percentage of times, magnets can come loose. Simply using m,ore CA Glue to replace the magnet is the best solution. If your product is still under warranty, please contact us for replacement! TreeDee is currently and always adjusting devices to enhance adhesion - and new ideas are coming!

Slots in my medication cases (prefilled vials like Epi) have become loose - can I fix this?

If your product is out of warranty and the slots have become too loose, simply adding small pieces of tape in layers to achieve the proper snugness is a very effective solution. You can also reach out to us for an insert kit, that will need to be glued in place, to correct this problem. Our vial kits ordered now come with self-adjusting spring material that prevent this issue.
