Tree Dee Designs Inc. receives many requests for customization of existing products or creation of entirely new products - and we're very excited to hear about all of your ideas and bring them to life!

All customization requests (beyond bump-out engraving options available on site) and all requests for new product ideas must be made directly to Tree Dee Designs Inc. via email - custom@treedeedesigns.com. Please be as descriptive as possible, including photos of design idea mock-up (drawings or otherwise, if available) or similar design ideas found online. Also include exactly what product(s) this idea is intended to hold or attach to (including brand names). We’ll get back to you ASAP!

General Custom Cost Breakdown:

Customization of existing products

  • Some minor adjustments can be made to existing products for a nominal $5-10 fee (the same fee applied to a custom bump-out/engraving).
  • Any customization request that requires longer design time and/or test printing will result in an additional $25-50 charge, depending on size of print and time required. This charge is based on previous customization requests and current product catalogue and subject to change depending on product size and customization request.
  • As always, customization requests are a one-time fee for multiple purchases of the same product. In other words, you’re only charged one customization fee no matter how many of the same product you order.
  • Logos & lettering customization requests are limited to space available on the particular product requested. Some text cannot be manufactured if too small, and some logos contain too much detail to be adequately produced. Logos with too fine detail may be able to be modified to print successfully.
  • Depending on order quantity, any customization fee can possibly be waived.

Creation of New Product Ideas:

  • There is no charge for obtaining a quote on a new product idea, so please feel free to contact us about any idea you may have!
  • Once a new product idea has been approved for creation (by both the customer and Tree Dee Designs Inc.), the design charge is $25/hr. This charge will need to be paid prior to beginning any work on creation of the device. Typically speaking, to design a custom Compact Case would typically take approximately 5hrs. The design time required will be estimated by Tree Dee Designs Inc. and if it takes longer, no additional charge will apply. If the design time is faster than anticipated, a refund in the form of store credit will be provided.
  • The design fee also includes test printing of the product - which can typically take multiple test prints to refine and get correct. Any “functional duds” (test prints that function correctly but have aesthetic flaws) can be provided to the customer for free, if desired, but marked as “demo”.
  • If a request for a new product requires housing of items, or the mounting to devices, that are not available to Tree Dee Designs Inc. there is an option to ship us a sample of the item/device for test fitment purposes. If this item is an empty medication casing or a syringe that can be kept by Tree Dee Designs Inc. then a store credit will be applied to the customer's order. If this item/device requires returning to the customer after fitment of the new product, shipping charges will apply to return the item(s).
  • Logos & lettering customization requests are limited to space available on the particular product requested.   • Depending on order quantity, any design fee can possibly be reduced or waived.
  • Typically, 3D graphic design time costs upwards of $100/hr - but is greatly reduced with Tree Dee Designs Inc. because the finished design is the property of Tree Dee Designs Inc.
