We're finally live!
What a roller coaster this has been! Only a couple short weeks ago, literally out of boredom, I posted some pictures of some designs I created online. These designs were simple things I created that I thought might help out my team mates with medical flight transport. Well, everything blew-up rather quickly and people all over North America wanted to have the products I created. I cannot express how happy this has made me. I quickly threw up an Etsy store and the orders started flowing in. After 5 days, I had almost 200 products sold. Quite the huge amount for just myself and a tiny 3D printer.
But I got to work. Printing as fast as I could. And tweaking my designs to ensure they would be of the best quality. And thanks to a local supplier (www.coleman3d.ca) I was able to get 2 brand new, much bigger and faster 3D printers delivered - along with the biggest box of filament/plastic I've ever seen.
On top of setting & calibrating these new machines, I had to create a proper website, get legal and accounting information, file for patents - and I even found time to start designing new products! I have a total of 15 products currently in design. But until they've been quality tested, my store products will be limited. But exciting things are coming!
I know my inventory right now is empty, and that is because I am focusing on perfecting my production output and catching up on my first order batch. I'll be adding new products in about 1 week! Check back soon!
